The UFC expects Thiago Alves to fully recover from brain surgery in time for a rematch with Jon Fitch at UFC 115. There fight at UFC 111 had to be postponed after pre-fight testing showed a anomaly in Alves brain, which was repaired on Wednesday with a successful surgical procedure.
The negotiations with the city of Vancouver was on the rocks last week, as issues with insurance and security had the UFC looking to Cincinnati as a backup. Apparently things have worked out, UFC 115 is back on for Vancouver.
UFC 115 set for June 12th from the General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
