Affliction 3: Jay Hieron vs Paul Daley Likely

According to MMAFanhouse, Jay Hieron (17-4) will likely take on UK fighter Paul Daley (21-8-2) at Affliction 3 rumored for August 1 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.

Hieron last fought at Affliction 2 “Day of Reckoning”, knocking out Jason High in the first round.

After months of speculation and rumors, Affliction is finally moving on a third event. Expected to headline the event is top heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko talking on Josh Barnett.

Affliction News: Jay Hieron vs Jason High Promoted To “Day of Reckoning” PPV

It is now looking like Affliction has decided to scrap the fight between Chris Horodecki and Dan Lauzon after Horodecki was not cleared to fight with a bulging disk in his neck.

The top undercard fight between Xtreme Couture fighter Jay Hieron and Jason High will now take its place on the on the five fight PPV telecast.

It is unclear at this time whether Affliction will find a replacement fighter to face Dan Lauzon on the HDNet portion of the telecast.
