UFC 110: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs Cain Velasquez
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria gets his wish to fight in Australia, Big Nog will take on Cain Velasquez at UFC 110 on February 21 at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. There initial fight at UFC 108 was canceled due to some bad voodoo antibiotics Nogueira was taking for a serious case of Staph.

Also on the card, fellow Brazilian Wanderlei Silva takes on the British hope Michael Bisping.

Antonio “Big Nog” Nogueira Eyeing February Return, Seeking Staph Treatment In US
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira hasn’t fought since defeating Randy Couture at UFC 102. His expected fight with Cain Velasquez was cancelled after he came down with another case of Staph infection. With a little medical intervention by UFC President Dana White, Nogueira will likely make his Octagon return early next year.
“I didn’t take the antibiotic enough. The medicine given me in Brazil wasn’t good … Now Dana White send me (to) a different doctor here last week. I’ll be on treatment for six weeks with antibiotics.†[MMAWeekly]
If the staph gets under control and the UFC gives the OK, Big Nog will be looking for a February return in Australia.
“In February I’ll be ready to fight when they ask me to fight. In February I think I’ll be in shape. I’d love to fight in Australia. If they put me on the card, I would love to fight there,â€
On the possibility of fighting Cain Velasquez,
“I’m not the type of guy that’s gonna give up some challenge. That’s a good challenge, young guy, strong, push… I push too. I’d love to have the match.â€
