Is Sean Salmon a human highlight reel or what…flying knee…what a way to check out for the night.
November 16th, 2007 at 10:07 pm
I can’t believe Southworth got beat, he got cut pretty bad above his left eye. I think Ruiz was a pretty big underdog for this fight.
November 16th, 2007 at 10:13 pm
Schwartz is a great kickboxer but he is a rookie to MMA, still he’s probably going to floor Lamont Davis.
November 16th, 2007 at 10:21 pm
You know what I like most about strikeforce, their ring girls look really slutty. lol.
November 16th, 2007 at 10:24 pm
The hardest thing about watching MMA rookies is their transitions. They may know striking, the may know the ground, the they don’t know transitions between the two. These guys aren’t pummeling in the clinch or looking for sweeps and they dont try advancing position when they are on the ground.
November 16th, 2007 at 10:28 pm
Anyone watching Davis vs. Schwartz….Davis didn’t finish with a guillotine because he didn’t trap the leg and arch his back into the choke….rookie mistake. All in all they both did good in their MMA debut.
November 16th, 2007 at 10:35 pm
Did you see Sean Salmon get a flying Knee to the head. They took him out in a stretcher like his fight with Rashad Evans.
Sean Salmon is the TRUE human highlight reel. The guy needs to learn to BLOCK
November 16th, 2007 at 10:50 pm
Hate to say it, but Buentello got dominated in every position of the game. Overeem is a great first Strickforce Champ. The guy is quick as hell.
November 16th, 2007 at 10:51 pm
Buentello got handled by Overems knees. Brutal…
November 16th, 2007 at 10:53 pm
haha Cage that what I said…Salmon is a human highlight reel. I read his interviews and he thinks he is ready to be a top contender in middleweight….not.
November 16th, 2007 at 11:04 pm
Santiago has some great knees…he dominated the Strikeforce Middleweight tournament.

Shamrock is being a dick on the mic. He says he didn’t duck Cung Le but I’ll bet he did.
November 16th, 2007 at 11:21 pm
I’m a striker so Cung Le is the most entertaining fighter for me…a close second are Fedor and Anderson Silva. I’ve watched him in San Chou and in training tapes and the guy is talented.
November 16th, 2007 at 11:24 pm
Cung has some sick Judo throws.
November 16th, 2007 at 11:29 pm
What did he do, I didnt see how he finished Morgan.
November 16th, 2007 at 11:30 pm
Bodykick finish was awesome, Cung Le is amazing on his feet.
November 16th, 2007 at 11:32 pm
Cung is fighting Frank Shamrock next…good luck with that Shammy. He dominated Morgan on the feet, on the clinch, but he needs work on the ground. Cung let go of good side and back positions becasue he doesnt keep his body close like a snake, it lets your opponent get space and excape a bad situation. Cung is a great fighter and he is going to beat Frank Shamrock…cant wait.
November 16th, 2007 at 11:34 pm
Frank talking shit to Cung lol. He doesn’t have the stamina anymore to beat a guy like that.
November 17th, 2007 at 12:29 am
onri: Seen the Baroni fight? He has all the stamina he needs.
Realwun: Morgan ran out of gas in the first round. Shogun reloaded.
November 17th, 2007 at 1:02 am
Damn, I missed the whole f’n thing. I didn’t expect the Buntello Overeem fight to go that way.
I feel bad for Salmon. I know he’s had fights since Rashad knocked him out. But man, if he keeps getting knocked out in devastating fashion, it’s going to do some serious damage.
Although I’d like to see Frank catch a beating (just my feelings.) I wouldn’t be so quick to count him out of the fight with Cung Le.
November 17th, 2007 at 2:11 am
salmon is on a 3 fight losing streek.
November 17th, 2007 at 5:26 am
Frank vs. Cung is going to be great. But I thought Frank did gas at the end during Baroni. I remember that he couldn’t catch his breath for the post fight interview.
November 17th, 2007 at 12:56 pm
Frank is going to overwhelm Cung Le because when Frank fights he is a pitbull. He is a huge step up to anyone in MMA that Cung Le has ever fought. I know Cung Le is awesome but Frank is Really great. Frank is good enough to challenge Anderson Silva as where Cung Le is not. I think this fight will be superb. But I’d give the nod to Frank. I am also surpised that Santiago took the tourney and beat Prangley who was the huge fav. Good job is in order for him.
November 17th, 2007 at 1:26 pm
Standing I think Cung has the advantage because he is really talented, but anything on the ground, it will be Franks world. We finally saw that Cung has a lot of holes on his ground work and Frank will be the first to exploit them when he sees them.
November 17th, 2007 at 2:28 pm
No way, Frank is going to wipe the floor with Lee. Frank only fights fights that he knows he has a good chance of winning. He will shoot and then pound on the ground.
November 17th, 2007 at 2:40 pm
It wasnt the greatest event I’ve ever see but Cung Le was pretty entertaining. I liked the middleweight tournament because it shows you who is the toughest all in one night, no marketing, just fighting. Overeem made a good statement and looks a lot better than he did in Pride even though he fought and lost to the best there.
November 18th, 2007 at 2:46 am
GO CUNG’ ==>(”USH!!!”)===> WELL SEE U IN CLASS !!!!!!!…. “BY THE WAY”… ALL YOU THAT DOUBT HIM ….ARE UNAWARE OF THE TALENT, ABILITY, AND HEART THAT THIS MAN POSSESES…YOU HAVE ONLY SEEN THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG AND REMEMBER HES NOT EVEN “CLOSE” TO BEING IN THE THE BEST SHAPE HES EVER BEEN IN…..AND HE “STILL” MAKES IT LOOK EASY AND!!!!!!!!!!!!
