I agree with Luke. Kimbo fighting is a win/win. It draws huge ratings to mma and then it exposes how a street fighter can’t just come in a win. It sort of legitamizes MMA when Kimbo is beat by a mediocre fighter like fat ass roy.

And fino – While i agree that Kimbo fights like sh*t, there is a positive to take from him appearing on the fanale.
TV companies love things that get huge ratings, even if Kimbo loses but 7 million people tune in, it opens the eyes of the big networks and makes them take an interest in MMA then before you know it, Kimbo is no more and all the best fighters are available to watch on a grander scale.

Agreed. I didn’t know Mattrione would puss out like that. I understand he is afraid of traumatic brain injury, but a fighter should know the risks before even entering a career like this. Roy must be pissed when he found out he’s fighting Kimbo in the finale.

What a joke. The benefit to the UFC is that it will bring in all those teenagers that watched him on You-Tube but dont know who Anderson Silva is. My nephews still think he could beat anyone but don’t realize he fights like $#it.
