Dana won’t let Anderson box, because if he gets destroyed by Jones even though it is boxing and not mma he will still lose some credibility as a fighter. There is more for dana to lose here than gain I believe. Why would he want everyone to see one of his top fighters lose in any type of fighting? Granted it is a great opportunity for Anderson it is still smart from a business standpoint to not let him fight unless you want to take a gamble thinking he has a chance to hold his own.

Remember people, this all started when boxers began their trash talking about MMA fighters. So why are the tables being turned all of a sudden??? Mayweather was on eof the initiators, I dont see him in the talks!? In fact he sure did retract his words huh… I would love to see him in the octagon. Would be demolished! Cant run in MMA!

roy jones was great back in the day, but anderson silva looks exactly like antonio taver. same length of arms, same height, but much better chin and much more accurate punches. it would be doomsday for jones.

i don’t think silva would have won but i know he would have gotten payed 10 times more than any mma fight he has had and that is enough to piss someone off

Yeah, I think Anderson is tough but I’m not positive in his boxing ability alone. I think its a big payday for both fighters and sometime down the line it will happen. I don’t think Silva is mad at Dana because there was 0 percent chance Dana would have let this happen in the first place.
