random name i’ve got a ? for you. how many english majors do you know that are entrepreneurs? how many millionaires do you associate perfect spelling with? the wall street journal is about politics and perfect spelling. blogs aren’t which is why our opinion even matters in the first place. my point…you don’t have to have perfect grammar to have an opinion that matters.

kom (in your mouth), so what you’re saying is that Cage Today is a millionaire company therefore don’t need to have proper spelling or correct facts to be considered reliable and professional?

Look, I’m saying this stuff because I like the site, and I want it to be the best it can be. I’m disappointed that they can get all this great news so fast (better than any other site out there), and yet they can’t even spell some basic English words. It’s not about using $50 words like superfluous, or whatever, it’s about having basic journalistic integrity by at least reading over your post before you post it.

And, just to completely destroy your baseless and confused argument, Cage Today is offering NEWS, not an “opinion that matters.” We’re coming here repeatedly because Cage Today has all the news as soon as it happens about MMA. And that’s awesome. They’re not opining on anything. They might add commentary along with their report, but it’s the news that keeps us coming back. I just ask that their spelling be up to par with their news resource skills. That’s all. Should be a simple request.

    :)

WOW, thats an awkwardly spelled word. Opining. I know it is correct, just looks weird. Awkward is a weird word too. It just LOOKS awkward. And the word weird, for that matter. I comes before E, except after C, except for weird. The rule doesn’t apply. That in itself is weird. Whoa.

    “They’re not opining on anything.”

random name please elaborate on that sentence i dont understand wat it means.

im opining that Random opines too much

  19. Ryan S Says:
    November 6th, 2009 at 6:05 pm

It is the action of stating your opinion. I have never heard anyone actually use that word.

“therefore don’t need to have proper spelling”…what you should have put is “therefore doesn’t.” see how much of a douche i would be if i went through every thread and did that.
