Vitor Belfort Will Make Michael Bisping Regret UFC on FX 7

Michael Bisping is poised to claim the middleweight title from Vitor Belfort even when he recently lost from top fighters like Tim Boetsch and Alan Belcher in 2012. Belfort mentions that he is going to make Bisping regret UFC on FX 7 through a well-managed plan.

Belfort was recently interviewed for this January 19 bout and he has even informed UFC President Dana White that he should start to look for fighting options for Anderson Silva. He said: “I already told Dana, choose another guy to face Anderson because he’s not going to get through me. That’s the bottom line.” He adds: “I don’t care. It doesn’t change anything in my life. God is my provider and I have a fight and I’m winning. That’s the only thing I know, I’m winning.”

Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort is a middleweight fighter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He currently has 21 wins and 10 losses in his MMA career. Former Bellator middleweight fighter Hector Lombard is challenging Michael Bisping. Lombard was interviewed by Fox Sports after he was able to submit Rouismar Palhares on the first round of their match at UFC on FX 6 in Gold Coast, Australia.

Lombard was heard saying: “Bisping, please. I want a piece of him. I don’t want to talk. Let’s talk in the cage. He bothers me.” Lombard added: “If I can’t fight Bisping, Mark Munoz, you’re next in line. I hope the UFC gives me the opportunity. I want to fight in the next couple of months, right away. I’m healthy, I don’t have any injuries and I’m ready.”

You may think that Lombard look so proud; this is because of his impressive fight stats in his professional career in MMA. “Lightning” is a middleweight fighter from Matanzas, Cuba. He has a superb 32 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw and 1 no contest fights in his record. But before his impressive win over Palhares in Gold Coast, he suffered a loss against Tim Boetsch in UFC 149 Faber versus Barao in July 2012 via split decision. Before this loss was a string of 20 consecutive wins since he 2007 when he was still in Cage and Bellator. He had several headline fights through the years against fighters like Jesse Taylor, Art Santore and so many more great fighters but each time Lombard emerge victorious. Lombard further added in his interview: “Every single time I fight in Australia, I please the crowd, so I’m pleased. It’s Caio Magalahares versus Michael Kuiper at UFC on FX 7

UFC on FX 7 is set for January 19, 2013 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This much awaited fight just days after New Year, is headlined by Michael Bisping and Vitor Belfort. This is a key middleweight fight that will settle once and for all who is the best among the division.

Among the scheduled fights is a match between Thiago de Oliveira Perpetuo and Michael Kuiper but after a terrible knee injury, Perpetuo withdrew from the fight leaving Kuiper to battle it off with Caio Magalhaes in Brazil. Promotion officials for UFC have announced that Perpetuo is slowly recovering from his injury but will need regular therapy and training to help him recover from his injury.

Looking at these fighters’ stats, Thiago “Bodao” de Oliveira Perpetuo is a middleweight fighter from Sao Paulo, Brazil. His professional career boasts of only one loss and nine wins with one draw. From his last draw against Luis Matoso in Jungle Fight 19 in 2010 he was able to win over Matoso in Jungle Fight 20 in the same year.

Replacing Perpetuo is Caio “Hellboy” Magalhaes from Sobral, Ceara , Brazil. He is a 24 year old middleweight fighter with 5 wins and only 1 loss in his career. His last fight was a loss against Buddy Roberts at UFX on FX 3 Johnson versus McCall in June 2012. He has managed to defeat great MMA fighters like Ismael de Jesus, Messias Pai de Santo and Maurillo de Souza da Silva to name a few.

Michael “Judo” Kuiper on the other hand is a 23 year old middleweight from Tilburg, Netherlands. He has a totally impressive fights card with 12 wins and 1 loss. His last fight was a win against Jared Hamman in UFC 150 Henderson versus Edgar in August 2012 via technical knockout in less than 3 minutes of round 2. His only loss was against Rafael Natal in UFC 143 Diaz versus Condit in February 2012.
