UFC Fight Night 16: Josh Koscheck vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida

The UFC has announced that Josh Koscheck will take on Yoshiyuki Yoshida in the main event at UFC Fight Night 16 “UFC Fights for the Troops” on Dec. 10 from the the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC, near the Fort Bragg military installation.

The three hour Spike TV special will feature a mix of old and new UFC talent.

Mike Swick vs. Jonathan Goulet Likely For The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale

According to FiveOuncesofPain, Mike Swick will likely take on Jonathan Goulet at the Finale of The Ultimate Fighter Season 8 set for December 13th in Las Vegas, NV.

Bout agreements have yet to be presented but the matchup has been proposed to Goulet and Swick, who apparently have both expressed separate interest in taking the fight.

The two were were originally scheduled to fight last year at UFC Fight Night 11, but Swick sustained an injury and was replaced with Dustin Hazelett.

Both fighters will look to keep their UFC winning streaks alive and establish their contendership in the UFC welterweight division.

UFC 85: Jonathan Goulet vs. Paul Kelly

According to TKO Extreme, Canadian fighter Jonathan Goulet (22-9) will face British fighter Paul Kelly (7-0) at UFC 85 on June 7 at the o2 Arena in London, England.

Goulet, achieved “Fight of the Night” honors for his knock out victory Kuniyoshi Hironaka at UFC 83.

Kelly, undefeated, is coming off a hard fought unanimous decision victory over Paul Taylor at UFC 80.

The fight is expected to be on the undercard of UFC 85 “Bedlam” which will be headlined by former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes and Thiago Alves.
