EliteXC Next Event Slated For Sept. 20 From “The Pit” In Albuquerque

EliteXC will return to Showtime in their next event to be held at The Pit in Albuquerque, NM. The Sept. 20 fight card will include Albuquerque’s own Joey Villasenor taking on a yet to be named opponent. More on the event is expected to be announced at a press conference in Albuquerque on Thursday, Aug. 7.

“Albuquerque is and has always been a great fight town. It is an
accomplishment and especially an honor for me to fight before all my friends, family and fans. I am very excited about Sept. 20. This is going to be a great night for EliteXC, mixed martial arts and this city….I have heard a few names being tossed around, but I do not care who I fight,’’

I’m not sure who EliteXC is going to put on this card being just two weeks before their first string fighters return to the cage Oct 4. on CBS Saturday Night Fights III.

Tickets are on sale now at the PIT box office or online at http://www.unmtickets.com
