A Missed Piss Test Could Keep Nick Diaz Out Of Fight With Jay Heiron (UPDATE)

nick diaz saying hello

Nick Diaz, is at it again, missing a required CSAC piss test for Saturdays Strikeforce “Carano vs Cyborg” fight aginst Jay Heiron.

Diaz was scheduled to take a pre-fight drug test tonight in order to get licensed and no showed. Caesar Gracie stated Wednesday that Diaz would appear for the test tonight in Sacramento. Neither Diaz nor Caesar showed up for the test and representatives for Diaz said Diaz was “busy training”.

Because of the time required to get test results back, CSAC believes the test would have had to be taken tonight. Strikeforce was contacted and promised Diaz would appear for the test Monday. CSAC has agreed to this new date but has stated there is a good chance test results will not be back in time to license him for the show.[F4Wonline]

An honest mistake or could Diaz be buying time so his results come back clean.

Diaz, a proud pot smoker, had his greatest win on record overturned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, after testing positive for Marijuana following his gogoplata submission win over Takanori Gomi at PRIDE 33 “Second Coming”.

Nick Diaz didn’t show up for his test today, Strikeforce has confirmed he is out and TUF castoff Jesse Taylor will replace him and face Jay Heiron in a three round non-title fight.
