UFC 88: Jason Lambert vs. Jason Day At Middleweight

After two strait loses in the UFC light heavyweight division, Jason Lambert will try his luck at middleweight taking on Jason Day at UFC 88 “Breakthrough” on Sept. 6 from the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, according to FiveOuncesOfPain.

Lambert (23-8), will likely benefit from the drop in weight, since he comes in to fights a little stocky for his 5’10″ frame.

Lambert most recently dropped a first round TKO loss to UFC up and comer Luis Arthur Cane at UFC 85 “Bedlam”.

Jason Day is coming off his first UFC loss, dropping a TKO to the “Count” Michael Bisping at UFC 85.

Both fighters need a win at UFC 88 to stay on the UFC payroll. The fight is slated for the undercard of UFC 88, which features the light heavyweight contender fight between Chuck Liddell and Rashad Evans.
