Benji Radach Not Medically Cleared To Fight Robbie Lawler At Strikeforce Evolution


It looks like Benji Radach will not be fighting “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler on the main card of Strikeforce: Evolution. The thirty year old fighter has yet to be medically cleared by a doctor after having surgery for a hand injury sustained in his fight with Scott Smith at Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Diaz over six months ago.

Monte Cox, Lawlers agent expects Strikeforce to find him a replacement for the Dec. 19 event.

Strikeforce Results “Frank Shamrock vs Nick Diaz”


Strikeforce “Shamrock vs. Diaz” takes place April 11th from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA. Headlining the card is a catchweight fight between veterans Frank Shamrock and Nick Diaz. will have live coverage of the undercards starting around 7:30pm EST. The main card will follow live on Showtime at 9pm EST.

Strikeforce News: Benji Radach vs. Scott Smith Likely April 11


According to MMAJunkie, former UFC fighter Scott Smith (14-5) will likely take on Benji Radach (19-4) at the tentatively scheduled Strikeforce event on April 11th from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA.

Both fighters have verbally agreed to fight, but bout agreements have yet to be signed.

This is the first fight rumored since Stirkeforce announced that they have bought some of Pro Elites assets and have struck a deal with Showtime to broadcast 16 live events on the premium cable channel.
