Ishii has been training out at American Top Team with top UFC welterweight contender Thiago Alves in Coconut Creek, Florida. He plans to cancel his apartment lease in Japan to be able to fight and train all around the world.

“I was disappointed to see BJ lose … However, I believe my teammate Thiago ‘Pitbull’ Alves will defeat GSP.”

  1. is this the same guy who called out fedor after he won his medal? if i remember right they asked him what was next for him and he said "the last emperor." I wonder what dana is up to.

  2. it's not a judo match though so this guy would get owned by fedor.

  3. dane drebin says:

i fight between this guy and fedor woul be uglier than his left ear. i do judo and love the sprt but come on lets be serious you need a lot more than any one martial art to beat fedor.

  4. Hi,

Olympic gold medalist win is not easy stuff, by hard labour and constant mentallity can a person win this .

  5. dane drebin says:

im sure he has the work ethic and natural ability to become very good in mma but the guy needs to slow his roll and have a few fights before he starts calling out the likes of fedor

  6. is this guy already fighting for is he just getting a contract cause he won a medal, its like saying lesnar was qualified cause he was wwf champ. this is retarded
