He will lose to Mercer, period!
How is a guy with o amateur or pro boxing matches going to beat even a 48 year old Ray Mercer who has fought in the squared circle for most of his life?
If you study Sylvia’s “stand up” skills anyone who knows fighting will tell you that Tim would not even win the NY Golden Gloves tournament.
Sure he’s big, strong.
But, he plods his boxing technique is at best “fair” and he drops his hands quite a bit.
If I were Tim’s trainer and manager I would set up a “smoker” in a closed door session with some tough club level heavyweight and see how he does and use it win or lose as a part of his prep work for the Mercer fight.
Tim Austin would be a good “gym” fight for Sylvia.
How does the NJ State AThletic Control Board license a good with 0 Amateur/Pro Boxing Fights?

he probably wasn’t the ufc champion at the time or she would have banged him. either way, the pastel green color of the bike will have all of the senior citizens jealous.

He got 800k for 30 seconds with Fedor, so i dont think its about a payday. Maybe Tim just wants to sit back and win pointless fights.
this fight will prove nothing but i suppose Tim Sylvia’s days as a top heavyweight are over, Dana White said he was sick of Tim stinking up the heavyweight division and thanked Fedor for disposing of him.

tim fan those are great stats, thats what makes this fight even worse if tim where some bum i would understand but why sink so low, if he needs a win there a plenty of mma fighters he could beat and not lose respect, this fight is a insult to himself.
