More Fights Rumored For UFC 91 “Couture vs. Lesnar”

If the UFC 91 “Couture vs. Lesnar” card wasn’t waist deep with talent already, multiple sources are announcing more matchups for the fight card.
A lightweight matchup between Canadian Mark Bocek (5-2) and Alvin Robinson are set to go down on the undercard of UFC 91.
A rumored middleweight matchup between Travis Lutter (9-5) and Joe “El Dirte” Doerksen (40-12) is also rumored for the undercard. It looks like the UFC will give Lutter a second chance after gassing out during his fight with Rich Fanklin at UFC 83.

it already a great card so this is just filler, i am surprized they brought lutter back i hope he comes in shape this time.

i like lutter and hopes he gets things back on track he lost to silva and franklin nothing to be ashamed of. if he gets his cardio in check i think he could be a force in that division. i bet his cardio is bad cuz he’s prolly broke as fuck and has to have an actual job on the side lol. they should have him face kendall next it would be interesting to see two ultimate fighter winners face eachother

he does have skills, but he needs cardio if he expects to beat anybody.

Lutters job is running his own gym. Maybe he’s the hands off kind of coach who tells his students to do cardio, and he doesn’t do it. I hope to see him come in 100% in this fight.

There really can’t be any disrespect in his Silva fight, I thought it was pretty damn impressive. He is the only one to put Silva in danger in a while. I don’t want him to go.

I don’t think Silva was ever in danger in that fight. Every fighter gets in a bad situation (like full mount) once in a while. What Silva did was work his way out without getting nervous or impatient.

Lutter is very lucky to be getting so many chances at fighting in the UFC period. He gasses in the Franklin fight and couldn’t even make wieght for a title shot against Silva.
Don’t get me wrong Lutter is talented but seems to have a problem being a pro in this sport.

im not trying to hang on lutters nuts or be all about luttler or anything but morey if u think lutter didnt have silva in any danger ur kidding urself. i dont think he would have knocked silva out but i could see a stop happy ref end that fight. there have been a lot worse stopages in the ufc and if u dont believe me go watch the lutter silva match again he hits him quite a few times while silva is just sticking his hands up. i think silva would beat lutter almost everytitme but lutter did have silva in danger

Yeah this isnt Lutters second chance. His first chance they brought him back onto TUF4 he won it and failed to make weight. They let him fight cuz anderson said he would still fight him. He looked like shit even though he did pretty good u could see he was fucking gassed before it started. His second chance was Rich Franklin and he was in Tank Abott Shape and now they give him another shot? I am sick of this boring no gas bitch. Yeah Lutter was doing real good against A. Silva and it makes u wonder what would have happened if Lutter had trained right and not came in too heavy and wear himself down trying to cut at the last minute. But he has no neart. Some guys will go even when there tanks are empty cuz they dont have quit in them. Lutter has none of that.
