Rear Naked Choke
One of the most popular submissions in mixed martial arts, the rear naked choke is and efficient way of finishing a fight when an opponents back is exposed. The submission puts pressure on an opponents carotid arteries in the neck to cuts off blood flow to the brain. The term “naked” refers a fighters ability to finish the submission with out the use of a uniform or “Gi”.
