The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) voted today to reduce Phil “New York Badass” Baroni’s suspension for steroids, from one year to six months. Phil Baroni will now be able to fight as of December 22.
Baroni tested positive for steroids following his fight with Frank Shamrock at Strikeforce Judgment Day on June 22. Frank Shamrock defeated Baroni by TKO, (Rear Naked Choke). The choke caused Baroni to loose consciousness, ending the fight in the second round.

frank shamrock is actually a very good fighter. yes, he acts like a prick sometimes and is kind of full of himself. but, you can’t deny his skills, experience, and talent. it’s a pity that him and dana white will never patch things up. i feel like he would hang with some of the best in the UFC welterweight or middleweight division.

Frank doesn’t want to hang, he wants to fight marketable fights, he doesnt care about titles. The guy takes whatever pays. He is a good fighter but he would get destroyed by Silva and Franklin. He could probably pull off victories with the rest of the pack.
