I think that’s a great idea as well, but I don’t think it’s going to happen for a while. Unfortunately there are too many people lining their pockets. Think about it.

Spend the money on advertising and media hype to make Kimbo seem like the greatest thing to happen in MMA. Justify and glorify his previous criminal behavior by selling the idea that he “had to” to feed his family. Expand on an already large following.

Now, do we spend the rest of our time selling out shows and getting rich watching kimbo knock out has beens, no names, and freaks? Or do we throw away our investment and watch him get decimated by a top 10 heavyweight? The math is simple.

well said. put kimbo up against a good opponent. although i dont know if there is one right now in elitexc. kimbo will be good but he will lose to that brazilian guy who handled that heavyweight chump. now that would be a great opponent.

As previously stated, it won’t prove a thing about Kimbo, or anything for that matter really. If Kimbo wins, it just makes him the next Tank or Sapp or…take your pick.

The fight at the very least may be exciting to watch likely to end in the first round by KO. At least Tank would put up a decent fight, which would be a first for Kimbo in the cage thus far. To “ralph sucks”: Tank is old, fat, and seemingly out of shape but I think he actually has better or at least equal hand speed compared to Kimbo.

All in all, it’s just another chance for the people at the top to cash in on the exploitation of Kimbo’s manufactured popularity. If it’s not free on showtime, I’ll save my money for a worthy pay per view card.

I think everyone thinks Kimbo is going to kill Tank. But when I think about it, this is a good fight, Ralph is right. I think Tank and Kimbo are brawlers and it would be a really good fight. Tank isnt going to do a mercer and half ass the fight, he is going to look to take Kimbos head with him. I think Kimbo will win, but it will be bloody and it will have a bunch of hard blows from both sides. Hope it happends.

I really want this fight to take place, I know the fight is not that important for real MMA fans, but it’s going to prove to all of the Kimbo’s youtube’s fans that he’s the biggest shit who’ll ever make it into a MMA event, maybe he’s good beating bums and fat guys, but that’s all he’s good for, Tank it’s goig to kill him, he’s no joke.
