Mirko Cro Cop vs. Hong Man Choi Set For K-1 Fields Dynamite 2008
By CagE | December 17, 2008
“I’m excited to let you know that I have accepted DREAM’s offer to fight against Hong-man Choi on December 31 at Dynamite show … We arranged all details and the contract has been signed – the fight is officially on.”
“I must say I’m happy with this opportunity to fight again in this year. This wasn’t the best year for me and I’m hoping that I’ll end it in a good spirit … Although I’m still having some difficulties with my old injuries there won’t be any excuses left in case of a bad result. I’ll handle (these) issues in January, but against Choi, I’ll be ready and nothing will stop me this time. I’ll just do my best and end this year with a win hopefully. Then I’ll focus on 2009 and work on the further steps in my career.”
Cro Cop makes it official, he will face 7′2″ Hong Man Choi at the 2008 Fields K-1 Dynamite show on New Years Eve. Contradicting rumors, the fight will be fought under MMA rules.

What did he say about overeem!?
surely he prepared something about that, i doubt that he would just pretend like nothing happened…

i bet cro cop wouldn’t pour beer down fedor’s pants.

that video was confusing. since crocop and overeem are fighting on the same fight it will be a WWE event where if they both win they can challenge each other. it equals more money and crocop can get a fight in before the rematch.

i seriously think cro cop should go to 205 i dont see him being able to handle the size difference in this fight.

i keep hoping mirko will get back in form but i dout it more with each fight, although choi is a tough k-1 fighter a loss to him and american fans will really be looking down on cro cop.

Crocop has been living off his hype. Since Fedor broke his will(or exposed it … IMO) he hasn’t been shit. Minus that wandy shit because that was Nasty. But even then how about your own weight class?

I agree Dane, he would probably have a better chance in a smaller division. It is kind of funny, but what relevance does this video have?
