Matt Lindland Laying Down The Law
By CagE | March 12, 2008

It looks like Matt “The Law” Lindland is taking his nickname literally. After all hopes of returning to the UFC have failed, Lindland has apparently placed his hat into the political arena, by entering the Oregon state primary, seeking to be the Republican nominee for a local House seat.
Republican House hopefuls will include both a former U.S. Congressman, Jim Bunn, who filed on Tuesday for the McMinnville seat held by retiring Rep. Donna Nelson, and an ultimate fighting champion, middleweight Matt Lindland of Eagle Creek, who is running for the seat vacated by retiring Rep. Patti Smith, R-Corbett.

I have a suggestion for his campaign theme music. It should be Vince McMahon’s entrance song “No Chance in Hell.”
