K-1 Hero’s, ProElite, and Showtime are Dynamite

On July 7th, these three major groups will join to promote a big pay-per-view event called “Dynamite!!USA” in the LA Memorial Coliseum. The top draw for the event is the return of Royce Gracie to ring in his first match since losing to Matt Hughes this past summer. Also carded of for this one is the MMA premiere of former WWE Superstar (and Royce Gracie student) Brock Lesnar along with the 7’2″ South Korean behemoth Hong Man Choi. All these organizations are not a treat to the UFC, but when they work together they can put on a big show. They still have a way to go, I would like them to get some serious fighters and not just show fighters.

  1. I'm looking foward to seeing the debut of Johnnie Morton. He used to be a USC wide receiver and now he is making his MMA debut at the LA Coluseum, the same place he used to dominate football at.

  2. Yeah, this is looking to be a huge event. I guess all the non UFC organizations need to cross promote to compete. That's good for us fight fans.
