Josh Thomson To Defend Strikefroce Title Against Yves Edwards

Strikeforce lightweight champion, Josh “The Punk” Thomson (16-2), will defend his title against veteran Yves Edwards (34-14-1) at Strikeforce “Destruction”, Nov. 21 from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA.
Thomson will be looking for vengeance over Edwards who previously defeated him at UFC 49 “Unfinished Business” by a highlight reel first round head kick.
Strikeforce’s Nov. 21 event, which will be televised on HDNet, will also feature Bobby Southworth defending his Strikeforce light heavyweight title against Renato “Babalu” Sobral and Joe Riggs taking on Luke Stewart in a welterweight bout.

Eves is always fun to watch I think he could take this fight.

The way thompson is fighting I dont think anyone outside of the UFC is gonna get him. Of course Yves does have that highlight reel KO of Thompson but that was when he was much yougner and immature as a fighter. He has improved a whole lot and I see him winning this fight pretty decisevly.
