Jon Fitch Forced Out Of UFC 132 Rematch With Penn, Condit Wants Penn

Jon Fitch will have to wait for his rematch with BJ Penn, he has reportedly suffered an injury during training for his UFC 132 fight and has been forced to pull out, according to MMAWeekly.

No word on a replacement for Fitch, but former WEC champion Carlos Condit is all over twitter requesting the fight with Penn.

“It would be an honor to fight a legend like BJ Penn, one of my favorite fighters ever. If the call comes, I would take the fight in a second – Carlos Condit

  1. Al Van Dal says:

Love to see it, Condit is the most under rated welter out there

  2. I think Condit is a great fighter too but this might be a bad match up for him because of BJ's great jab. I think this will be an easier fight for BJ.

  3. I agree with mikey. Bj is one of the most difficult guys to finish, and he can finish a fight from anywhere. Condit's best chance imo would be to use his reach and try to pick bj apart. nonetheless it would be a good fight because both guys are tough fighters. I'd really like to see more of condit.

  4. perfection1st says:

Man, I like BJ, but Condit is younger and I think he'll be just a little to quick for BJ. I think it would be a great fight.
