People want to see Kimbo fight. EliteXc isnt trying to get the mardcore MMA fans to watch b/c most of will watch free MMA no matter what. They are trying to get the new comers and people who have never seen the sport before. Kimbo is a big black guy with a cool household nickname known for street fighting that sounds a lot better then some guy nobody has heard of in a main event. Im not saying he is great but he isnt horrible. His stand up is decent and his ground game is only going to get better. I just wish Joe wouldnt call people out especially when he hasnt been winning. Wasnt his last fight in the UFC a KO loss to Diego? Yeah he sucks, even at stand up and he's not even that exciting, but it's not his fault he's famous. Any fighter that comes in the ring w/ a colored mohawk or a tattoo shirt or some crazy nickname is also trying to get pub and Kimbo just happened to get lucky at the right time...and the dude that beat him on YouTube got an offer from UFC too (his police dept nixed it and wouldn't let him fight) so all this high and mighty crap is just that. I wish he wasn't in the sport or that he'd get 10 fights under his belt before we see him again, but as long as he's really giving it a shot, I say lay off him. He's not going to single handedly take the sport down the tubes. All these veteran guys saying they'll kick his ass is like Michael Jordan dunking on dudes that come to his fantasy camp.
