Its going to be just like boxing and it already is. The UFC just has the best belt right now. And the UFC is screwing up with all of these Interim Title holders, thats what I don’t get. I’m all for a Superbowl Showdown between the top three or four promotions once a year, where the owners can check their ego at the door and let their fighters show what they’ve got. Fight for big money, big trophies, and big respect.

it’s all bc of that stupid M1 promotions. UFC right now has all the big fighters. fedor is off in his own world in M1. M1 will soon realize they need to do a joint promotion with UFC. and secondly, i would really hate to see MMA become like boxing, where there are like 4 major belts (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF). there needs to just be a single MMA belt and this should be UFC.

Dane has a point. What the hell was Fedor doing fighting Lindland? I’ll save my voting for when he fights Josh Barnett. If he dominates that fight then I will give him back the respect that he has been given the past few years. Until then, I give it to Randy because he has been the Heavyweight that proved himself the most this past year.

i think while fedor is still a legend he has a lot to prove… right now hes the baddest man on the planet but he cant keep fighting chumps and thinking hes number one… who has he beat lately? a 44 year old washed up mark coleman twice… mirko whos looked horrible as of late… mark hunt was impressive but matt lindland??? the guy is a natural 185 pounder u have to admit its getting a little rediculous

who would you say is the #1 h.w. if not fedor. randy after 2 fights one with sylvia who has fought no one(randy a loss) gonzaga (maybe one of the best but still has to prove it with only one noteworthy win).

I don’t think Fedor fears Randy but he is laughing at the fact that he will always be #1 to most people until he is beaten. He is cashing in and doesn’t even have to fight the top guys.

All I can say is that this sucks for me regardless of who Fedor fights because I don’t even have HDNet. I was hoping that at the very least I could order it on PPV and watch this live. Guess not. Why do they have to put good shows on these obscure channels…I don’t get it. At least the UFC broadcasts on Spike which is a basic cable channel.

So is Fedor fighting Hong Man Choi or not? I saw that Choi is fighting already early this month for K-1 so I don’t get that if he’s fighting in this.
