George Lucas’ Daughter Fighting For MMA Title Today

Amanda Lucas, the first daughter of legendary Sci-Fi creator George Lucas, will be fighting for a women’s MMA title on Saturday at Deep 57 in Tokyo, Japan. She will face pro wrestling star Yumiko Hotta at an open-weight class.

The promotion keeps trying to get her to do a Star Wars themed entrance and even spliced the theme music into her last fight intro without telling her. But she’s trying to pave her own way in the sport.

“I’m not walking out with Darth Vader. Japanese fans are fanatical about Star Wars. I get it and I appreciate it.”

“Powerhouse” Lucas has a 3-1 record entering into the fight with two wins coming by submission and one by decision.
