Frank Shamrock Claims Brother Ken Is A Roider

By CagE | March 20, 2008

In a recent interview on MMAMadness, Frank Shamrock let it loose with claims that his brother UFC legend Ken Shamrock has been using steroids all his career.

MMA Madness: You say that you’ve seen guys take steroids. Could you maybe give us any names?

Shamrock: Sure, my brother Ken did them his whole life.

MMA Madness: Really?

Shamrock: Yeah. Why do you think that his mind is so fried? Why do you think he crumbles before the big fights? He’s got no psyche. He let steroids give him a false sense of security and the moment that stuff is gone he’s no longer superman. He’s just a regular man. But without all the hard work and without all the belief in himself that a regular man would have if he got up to that point. He’s the only guy that I’ll tell on, because he’s always in trouble anyway.

Ken Shamrock, one of the UFC’s original legends, enjoyed great success during his early career. After a short time with the WWE, Shamrock returned to find that the sport had passed him by. He’s lost to Tito Ortiz three times and hasn’t won since June of 2004.

Thats a pretty big rat out. I don’t know if the early UFC events required drug tests or not? Anyone know?

Lol…exactly right. We saw what Ken Shamrock was all about on TUF. He was more concerned about nutrition and brought in body builders to train in MMA. He was a strong body building type fighter that imposed his will on his opponents in early MMA. Not to take anything away from him but him using roids all his life is no supride to me either. I mean c’mon, the guy was a WWF wrestler at one point and all of those guys take roids.

Man it sounds like Frank is just trying to anger Ken even more so they will fight. He wants that BloodBrother cash in if not why else drop this bomb. These is turning ugly I wonder what other dirty secrets Frank has on Ken. I’m sure Ken is gonna have some kinda of response soon.

maybe there are trying to build up some hype so they can have the brother vs brother fight still, since ken lost again i don’t think anyone wanted to see that anymore and maybe this is there way of building it up again.

that makes sense that frank is trying to build up his next fight already. ken is rumored to fight either kimbo or frank and i don’t see him winning either of those fights. he’s on a big losing streak and he probably should have retired for good.

Personally, its no big “f… in” surprise…

Kens an intense guy, but he’s also weird as hell.

Also, Frank is trying to build up and promote a fight between the two…Ken has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he’s still dangerous…

Frank seems more the business man..

i disagree roy… frank is pulling a fedor and only fighting guys he picks out. i think henderson, anderson, franklin, lutter, okami, and maybe even bisping or tanner could beat him
