Former Strikeforce Champion Gilbert Melendez Looking For 2008 Return

By CagE | September 25, 2008

Gilbert Melendez:

“You’ll see me before the end of the year….I have a lot to improve in the meantime so you’ll see a much better fighter the next time out.”

“I have one fight left with Strikeforce, and I like them a lot….Maybe they’ll be in my future, but we’ll have to see.”

“I want to get in there with both Thomson and Ishida. They both beat me with good strategies so now I’m going watch them so I can beat them up next time.”

Former Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez weighs in on his career after losing his title to Josh Thomson earlier this year.
