Fabricio Werdum Leaves The UFC
By CagE | November 10, 2008
Following the devastating knockout loss to Junior Dos Santos at UFC 90, UFC heavyweight top contender Fabricio Werdum has apparently not come to terms on a new contract and has left the UFC, according to MMAWeekly.
Sources indicate that Werdum was expecting a title shot, but the KO derailed any chance of that happening anytime soon. The Chute Box fighter will likely try to negotiate a spot in the US based Affliction promotion or possibly DREAM or Sengoku in Japan.
