Evan Tanner To Return This Summer

By CagE | March 17, 2008

Evan tanner

Team Tanner website:

Just talked with Joe Silva, the UFC matchmaker. He gave me a date and an opponent. Looks like I’ll be back in the Octagon this summer.

It’s good to have a fight scheduled. The last two weeks have been really rough. I’ll tell the story on that in the next few days.

Evan Tanner was knocked out by Yushin Okami on March 2 at UFC 82

I hope Evan can climb his way back up the latter. Would love to see him as the champ- but silva is really out of this world.

it’s ironic how the picture depicts evan tanner digging his own hole… considering his past troubles with the bottle. no pun intended.

Good one Derek. I like Tanner because he used to fight like Clay Guida where he fought with a ton of heart and energy. He didn’t look great in his first fight but Okami is a good fighter. I hope he can climb back and look like his old self again.
