After much speculation, the heavyweight match up between Antonio “BigFoot” Silva (10-1) and Justin Eilers (19-6-1) is slated for “EliteXC Unfinished Business” on July 26 from the Stockton Arena in Stockton, CA, according to a report on FiveOncesofPain.

According to the report EliteXC VP Jared Shaw stated that a verbal agreement is in place and signed contract is expected later in the day. It is unknown whether this match up will be for the newly created EliteXC heavyweight title.

CageToday has learned that Silva will be headlining the Showtime Card that proceeds the CBS card.

  1. Sergei Kharitonov >> “BigFoot” Silva> Justin Elders

They had a chance to make the good fight. Instead we've got to settle for this. It's a damn shame.

  3. I dont think this fight is bad it has potential to be a very good war it all depends on which justin eilers shows up that night.Silva should get this win though b/c he is just just overall much btter than eilers who gets KO'd way to easily and too often.

  4. but justine can knock yoou with one punch easy he has 12 wins by KO

  5. eilers has done good in the lower shows but i think silva is a step above what he has been fighting.

  6. to bad they could'nt make the kharitonov fight . it would have been more evenly matched for silva

  7. justine has the hands and i guess Bigfoot got all round skills
