After days of speculation of an opponent, Nick Diaz will face MMA veteran Thomas “Wild Man” Denny at EliteXC Unfinished Business on CBS, July 26, according to Gracie Fighter.

Diaz was rumored to be fighting KJ Noons for the EliteXC lightweight belt, after the two fighters camps got into an altercation in the cage at EliteXC “Return of the King”.

Thomas Denny is coming off a TKO (Injury) win over Muay Thai standout Malaipet . Denny was struck in the back of the head with a vicious elbow and told the referee he would not be able to continue. The stoppage stirred controversy with the fans, after Denny erupted in the post fight interview, calling out Malaipet right after he proclaimed he could not continue.

The two crafty MMA veterans will finally face each other on CBS Saturday Night Fights, July 26.
