i agree with you derek accept for the guys there paying 6000 a fight,they train for 4 months eat right have trainers it all costs money and after taxes these guys end up losing money every fight.they should get at least 15000 a fight to be in the ufc and thats still not a alot.

u know, i think the UFC should pay low for those upcoming dudes. if they can’t bring in the fans and aren’t known, why should they get paid like $60K a fight??? it makes sense that lidell gets paid like 1/2 million ($250K to win & 250K bonus), but would it make sense for like some no name dude to get even half of that? if that were the case, i would be training right now.

Definetely, the UFC is years ahead of any other organization as far as growing there own talent. Actually since the UFC is really the first organization nobody really new about the talent of the fighters untill the UFC recognized it. I don’t believe the UFC offers there up and comers a lot of money for fights so later on down the road after Elite gets some bigger draws maybe they can outbuy some of the talent and teach them lesson.

Elite just needs more depth on their rosters. They have a few headliners in each division, now they just have to add status to their up and comming talent. Thats one thing the UFC has is depth that they have established over many years of showcasing their fighters.

Yeah, Nick is a loudmouth but he is always a gamer. I actually think he is a good aquisition for them, he’s got some creds. Not to get anymore off track with this but I think it was bullshit that they took away his win over Gomi in pride becuase he smoked some bud. In my opinion at least.

thats a different roy than me i think nick diaz is a tough fighter, i do think him and his bother are loud mouths and i like to see them lose but nick will fight anyone and puts on a good show.

just to elaborate, elitexc needs to get better fighters. they need to stop picking up bum fighters that the ufc dropped… like nick diaz. and his disrespectful brother, nate, has the balls to go on a UFC PPV to mouth how the UFC needs to treat his brother better… and this is after he won the $100K contract + another $100K promo with xyience.

if they get some more good fighters they might be able to compete with the ufc down the road.i like what he said about white.
