Dope Report: Sean Sherk Reinstated!
By CagE | April 15, 2008
On Monday, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) reinstated former UFC lightweight Champion, Sean Sherk’s, following a six month suspension for steroids (Nandrolone).
Sherk was eligible for reinstatement on January 7, but didn’t pay his fine of $2500, until Monday.
Sherk was suspended following his fight with Hermes Franca at UFC 73 “Stacked” in July of last year. His lightweight title was later striped by the UFC and later won by BJ Penn at UFC 81, with a dominating win over Joe “Daddy” Stevenson.
This clears him to seek his tile back from BJ Penn at UFC 84 “Ill Will” on May 24 in Las Vegas.

“The Juice Shark” Vs “The Prodigy”
Good to know he got his clean test…
Have to see how much muscle hes gonna have in the cage.

i didn’t take any of that suspension seriously in the first place because he was in line to defend his title as soon as possible. the UFC kind of undermined steriods in MMA by making is seem like sherk shouldn’t be punished. i lost a lot of respect for how they handled this situation and i hope BJ tears sherk up just to prove that point.

fuck yall that shit isnt even a real steroids..i know ppl who take that shit.. sherk is coming to beat bj down

If you don’t like the rules…like kicks and knees downed opponents, or taking banned substances…thats fine, then the UFC isn’t for you and go fight somewhere else.

Tom, you’re a tool! BJ will fuck Sherk up. Sherk didn’t do nearly as good against GSP or Hughes as Penn did.

BJ may not look as athletic as Sherk but he has shown that he is really quick and strong. The Stevenson fight showed me once and for all that he is an elite athlete. Good point Boris.

bj is strong in the first 2 thats all he gots ..Sherks going to ride him out and make him work and going to gas bj then sherk is going to come in for the kill and win by TKO in the 4 round..but i do like what Bori said

Good point dane. Sherk won’t lay and pray with BJ because he is going to be submitted. I don’t even consider this a good matchup for BJ. Its going to be over in 2.
