Did Junie piss off the UFC once again?

The video you can no longer find...

The video you can no longer find...

Maybe.

Here’s the deal…

Tammy Logsdon AKA “TammyTV” recently visited Junie for an interview at the Four Season Martial Arts Gym in Lexington, Kentucky where he trains. TammyTV later placed that video interview on YouTube and I happened to have watched it. The video interview didn’t reveal anything too exciting, that is until Tammy asked Junie when his last fight was. Junie’s reply was that he couldn’t say, making it understood that his last fight was on sometime on TUF. Obviously, he was being vague because he had to be. However, things took a slight turn when Junie stated that all he would say was that he did “really good” on the show.

Now, keep in mind that this video was posted on YouTube before this most recent TUF episode when Junie went absolutely berserk. If you were like me, most TUF viewers were probably thinking that Junie could be getting kicked off the show because of his crazy antics on that episode. Or it could be reasoned that maybe he’d be kicked off at a later date because he will just keep up his crazy ways.

Let’s take one step back and ask ourselves, what does Junie mean by “really good”? Up until now, I was of the belief that this guy was bound to keep up his craziness and eventually be booted from the show. But if he’s now saying (after the taping of TUF is over) that he did really good, it now makes me question my beliefs. Now, I’m not entirely sure he’s going to be kicked off. Also, because of his statement in the interview, I’m led to believe that, at minimum, he wins his next fight — or more.

The story, however, does not end there. In the latest twist, the video has since been removed from YouTube and can’t be found anywhere on the web. Prior to a few days ago, at least a few MMA News sites had posted or linked the video. Now all that is left is an error message. If I had to guess, I’d surmise that the UFC got wind of this video and they pressured the owner to remove it. Why else would the video be suddenly MIA?

I’m pretty sure all of the fighters sign confidentiality agreements prior to the taping. Junie was supposed to keep his mouth shut. Dana has got to be fed up with all the drama Junie creates. I can only assume that he is that damn good for them to put up with him. He better be worth it.

  1. WOW excellent find this will be the subject of much controversy not of the Kimbo level but.. MMA has its own Pacman Jones.

  2. its all a commercial anyway …with plots and sub plots……we just like watching it

  3. Hell ya! I want to see it.

  4. Im sure ufc lawers made a late night call to TammyTV

  5. I didn't think for one minute that junie was ging anywhere for two reasons.

    1. Dana was talking him up before he even had his first fight.

    2. at the end of episode two they show a highlight reel of things to come this season.

Parts of the highlights were Junie stirring drama and then a clip of Dana saying, "this isn't fu@kin' survivor. you don't Vote people off, you BEAT them off… wait a minute, that sounded bad didn't it?"

As funny as that was, it was pretty much a dead give away to me.

  6. True. If they were going to boot Junie off they wouldnt have shown his whole fight in the prelims and hyped him up. They would have done a quick clip. Hes a good fighter so I wouldnt be suprised if he won. But I dont want to know either because I want to watch the show.

  7. Jordan Katz says:

Miko is absolutely right…before the season even began, Dana White was quoted by numerous news outlets for saying, "there is a lightweight who fights like Anderson Silva…" insinuating potential TUF champion Junie's potential.

At the end of the day, the UFC is a business. And if Junie is as talented as the hype would lead us to believe, than it shouldn't be a surprise that Dana allows him to stay aloft.

In truth, it's not about who behaves. It's not about who remains classy. It's literally about whose the best fighter and who attains the most fan support. And as of now, Junie seems to do so…regardless of behavior.

  8. However though, Jordan, a lot of people do not have any interest in seeing Junie in the house. Good fighter, but an extremely aggrivating personality. Sometimes too aggrivating to watch on tv. But you are right, his name is the one that always comes up in discussion about the show, and maybe that's all he needs. And I don't know, I'm not sure he was talking about Junie when he made that quote. When I heard it, I immediately thought of Silva's standup, which I don't think Junie's is that great. There was someone else I had my eyes on to fill those shoes, but I don't remember what his name was. Junie also seems like the cocky type of idiot that would say if he won or not in the interview reguardless of the confidentiality agreement. Or at least he would make it much more obvious than saying "I did really good" without actually saying he won.

  9. PooPooPlatter says:

Check this video out too! Maybe the site wants to post this?

This guy and his brother are horrible for MMA!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C5SOJjsgtE

It really shows that Junie is always acting retarded, not just on TUF.

  10. RyanS… i believe the fighter your thinking about is Phillip Nover (the guy who fainted) in his prelim fight all he did was throw kicks and knees.

  11. Jordan Katz says:

Yeah, Ryan, agreed. Junie certainly pushes the limits and his personality clearly rubs people the wrong way. I don't like his poor attitude, his clownish antics, or his arrogance. But, it makes for interesting television. That type of behavior is what draws ratings, which is why the have designated so much screen time to him. I think Junie is the type of person who gives mixed martial arts a bad name. His lack of respect, lack of class and overall classless demeanor hurts the sport. Dana White should be protecting the UFC from guys like this, but I guess ratings come first.

  12. i like this season a lot better than the last one so far.

  13. i really hope they dont kick him and i hope he stays pn and getts hs shit togather

  14. I agree I like this season. All of the fights have been good so far. Junie is a dumb ass. I'm glad they have alcohol because you get to see what guys don't have it upstairs. But the UFC should give them something, an hour of TV, something else to do. They drive them crazy with nothing to do then have alcohol so of course their going to act a fool.

  15. I want to see how they beat him off the show.

  16. You want to see them beat him off?
