UFC President Dana White talks about rumors of Anderson Silva facing Chuck Liddell at UFC 100:
“If Chuck can win in his next fight, then we could see that fight. Liddell has been open to fighting Anderson, so maybe that can be a fight we can make,”
White welcomes talks about the possibility of Mirko Cro Cop returning to the UFC in 2009:
“We will welcome him with open arms. He is a guy that I respect, and when he left, there was really no bad blood,”
“He needed to clear some things up, so if he wants to come back, he is welcome.”

ufc 100 will be fucking crazy and they best fight card ever watch..
Andreson will kill chuck and is much better at MMA then chuck…Chuch just has one punch power nothing else..SILVA is better on the ground and stand up..

I totally agree…this UFC should be the card of the century…they should have in no particluar order Anderson Silva, Liddel, Jackson, Wanderlei Silva, Couture, Nog, Lesnar on the card…all the top names on the biggest UFC event in history.

Never count Chuck out. Look at it this way. If Cote can stand with Anderson for what 2 1/2 rounds then I think chuck can aswell. But ur right the fight might not go long lol. I would love to see Shogun get a rematch with Rampage on this card. Its almost a gimme that Shogun will be coleman and Rampage was destroyed by shogun the first time they fought. So lets see the rematch. It will be fucking excting and maybe one of the best fights ever. Give us BJ or GSP against Thiago Alves. Go out and Sing Tito bring him in and have him fight Wanderlei for a rematch fight. It would be awesome to have Kongo vs Carwin. Hoping that Carwin wouldnt take him down.

Based upon how important UFC 100 is to the UFC and Dana and MMA in general…i think they have to have all top level talent on this card otherwise it would just be a normal fgiht card…but its UFC 100 it needs to make a statement…which everyone will remember…of course getting some of the top names fighting again by July will be hard depending upon any injuries and or medical suspension given out after theri current fights throughout this year…as in Liddell, Lesnar, Mir, Anderson Silva, and i am sure Randy doesnt want to wait till July to fight so he will have to fight relatively soon within the next 3 months as well. Hmm Maybe a Randy vs coleman/ Nog fight for July.

carwin would be dumb to not take kongo down thats where the biggest difference in there game is. i think carwin would smash kongo but he hasnt faced anyone of consequence yet so who knows.

Exactly Carwin has yet to be tested in my eyes…while Kongo has proven himself and has been tested win or lose. That would be a great fight…also Velasquez vs Carwin would be good too but i think Cain is suspended…not sure though.

Liddell vs. Anderson will be a great stand up war! I just hope Chuck Liddell can win his next fight. I heard rumors it may be a rematch with Jardine. Also, who should Cro Cop fight if he returns at UFC 100? I would like to see him fight Arlovski, if Arlovski returns. Wandy also wants to fight at UFC 100. Maybe a drop to 185 would be good for Wandy. A fight with Chris Leben, Patrick Cote, or even a rematch with Dan Henderson would be good.

Ih heath herring can expose Kongo standing and sorta bully him around like when they fought the I dont see why Carwin would have trouble doing it. I dont think Carwin woud be stupid to stand and trade at all. Fighters like to make fans happy and I think Carwin believes he could take Kongo on the feet.

I would love to see Anderson Silva fight Chuck Liddell. That would be a great fight. If Cro Cop comes back he needs to avenge his loss against Gonzaga. I wont be happy until I see him beat Gonzaga.
Shogun vs rampage would be a great fight as well. I remember that fight in Pride. Rampage got destroyed. He got beat so bad that i felt bad for him.

Cote didn’t really stand with Silva for 2 1/2 rounds. Silva was toying with him and dancing around. Don’t think he’ll do that with Chuck. Franklin’s is much better then Cote and you saw what happened when Anderson turns it up.

Keith has a weak chin obviously. He can get KO’d by a glancing blow. He will never be a truecontender. Rampage is gonna fight Rashad for the title. Also whether u wanna say anderson daned around cote and was toying with him he also hit cote with some big knees that landed pretty solid that didnt even phase Cote. Shogun of harlem. I agree and so do the ufc guys. Why do u think they put Tito vs Machida. B/c machida is boring so the crowd doesnt like the fight and tito would most likely lose. Both r what Dana wanted for titos last ufc. His boring style is the reason he doesnt have a title shot. He doesnt destroy ppl which all the guys who gettitle shots do. He needs an impressive win over Thiago if he wants to be the next in lie for titlesht. Because if he cant put butts in the stands the they wont put him in title fight.

lyoto is boring for sure but tell rich, soko, and stephan he doesnt destroy people. i think they might disagree with you steve because he tooled all of them and stopped them all aswell. he’s a great fighter and will end the fight when he’s sure he’s not taking topo much of a risk but a true champion always puts it on the line to end the fight and he does not. i hope thiago ends his streak. thiago gets rocked and almost loses a lot but he has the heart of a champion and alwasy battles back. i see him being way outclassed in this fight tho.

its more his fan base, he is not well known and is considered boring and thats is why he has not gotten his title shot yet, i think he deserved one before forrest and i think he deserves one with a win over thiago(who i hope wins as well) but it will be rampage that gets it because of his popularity.

Dane the only reason he beat Soku is b/c Soku throws everything full blast and that tleads to him running out of gas with in the first round. His gas tank really hurt him and thats not destroying someone lol. When u destroy someone they dont instantly want a rematch thinking they can beat u and u got lucky.Now I didnt see him fight Franklin but I guarantee it was a different franklin than the one we see today. And then he beat Stephan by a cut. Didnt see it but that was stephans 4th fight and again it wasnt in the ufc. U have to earn a title shot by beating guys impressivly b/c that gets u fans dane. He hasnt destroyed anybody he has fought in the ufc.

i dont care if soko was gassed or what it was the first round man thats his fault the fact is lyoto dominated him and then submitted him. he made him look like a bitch. and he TKO’d franklin. if he keeps winning and never losing a round he will get his title shot. i dont liek him as a fighter. i agree with you he is boring. and i said he never puts it on the line like a champion should. but he has beaten people dominanlty. nobody can figure him out. dont be so biased about fighters you dont like the guy is ranked number 3 in the world for a reason.

I’d like to see GSP run at middleweight but Alves deserves a legitimate title shot. I think the middleweight division is dead for the moment. No one can compete with Anderson and GSP can stuff anyone else at 185. It would suck to be at 185 and know that your current champ is kickin butt 20 lbs heavier and your future champ is 15 lbs lighter than you. Opinions may vary.

I agree on Silva being a lot for GSP. But I think they are both fighting in classes below their level of talent. I think they should both go up a weight class. There is little interest in watching A Silva fight at 185. And aside from Thiago Alves I don’t see much competition for Georges at 170. I think both fighters have more challenge by moving up.
I’m also a big fan of Arlovski and Barnett, but Affliction is an old timers league. The has-been’s of MMA.

surprising noone countered claims that lyoto is boring. as to a.silva fighting for the lhw title, it won’t happen. he knows the title belongs to lyoto. If u don’t like it, better start getting used to the idea.. as for the ufc 100 card, should be:

jeez dont put chuck to anderson silva. chuck is 2 old and is on the worst point in his career. lost his last 3 of 4. and i don’t think that chuck beat waderlei by that much. i think he can beat jardine and maybe him facing forest griffin would be a good fight. as for anderson silva, i would have 2 say either gsp or evans. the 2 of the best in welterweight and light heavyweight. so if anderson takes on gsp then i think rampage should fight evans. if silva fights evans then i think that thiago alves would be the next best thing for gsp. otherwise nog and couture should definatley b on this card 2.

Seriously…liddell and a silva would be a terrible fight. They are nowhere near well matched. The best fight for silva at this point if there could be a weight change would be lyoto machida. They are both elusive yet very powerful. Because were seeing lyoto fight in may, i doubt well see him in july. and i love sugar rashad…but watch out for the dragon. as for the rest of the card im with erik up there…except for cro cop and arlovski…neither of those dudes are in the UFC right now. oh yeah and koscheck would get killed by jon fitch.

Lyoto Machida is my favourite fighter to watch! You guys are nuts! He is a smart fighter, counters, always dangerous. His fight against Franklin was great, but I think so were all his UFC fights. When you fight someone for three rounds, hardly get a scratch and bloody or bruise your opponent up that is impressive. He is a great fighter, I love his style! He may appear like a slow and lazy fighter at first but look at his technique and accuracy, he is very composed and very skilled!
