Dana White: Cro Cop Make Up Your Mind

In post UFC 81 comments, Dana White set a deadline for Mirko Cro Cop to agree to a fight or retire.
“We’re waiting to hear from him,” said White, “We told him we’d wait for him to make a decision, but he’s not making a decision……The deadline is pretty much up, and I need decision from him by Monday (February 4)”

This statement comes just days after Mirko Cro Cops website released this statement:
“Mirko is focused on only one thing lately – to get back on track,” a message on the web site reads. “His training regiment has been changed and now with Marijan Zizanovic, his former trainer, Mirko looks for a strong comeback. The details about his next fights are still not available, but it seems that Cro Cop will come back stronger once again.”

making that statement publically seems contrived of dana.
he favors entertainment over sport.
money over honor.
just ask him and wait to announce the decision dont direspect a hall of famer, a fighter. thhe fighters backs os how dana made his fortune – he shoulnt forget.
in capitalist pure terms: the ufc does better burying any symbol of of other orgs – past and present.
much like political regime change 101.
but there is a sport called mma somewhere hiding in this all.

it’s not as if mirko is the co. accountant – he’s a fighter!
4 days is NOT A BIG DEAL. chill out Dana.
If i was mirko (which I am) i’d announce retirement. end the contract and join another org like M-1 and fight Fedor again – win or lose i’d be respected

hear he’s bulked up – love to see him in action.
thought about middle heavyweight division 205-235. it’d be interesting cause it be still agility and power. they could still allow fights accross the 2 belts

the last i heard mirko said he was ready and waiting for the ufc know dana says this it sounds like more dana b.s. to me

dont wanna hug crocopnuts but i’d rather see he win aainst a worthy stepping stone as he adjusts to the cage the elbow, no knees soccer kicks. the annoying standing up of fighters ( although that’s usually going to help him- just not against GG as fate would have it)

Mirko Cro Crop vs. either wandrlai silva if one of them ones to agree to the others weight or Cro Crop vs. Josh Barnett because he’s a wrestler and Mirko is strictly a striker

CC vs barnett in UFC rules would be different. elbows good for josh, constant standing up of fighters better for mirko. cage better for josh but could help mirko get back up too.

i think mirko will get a lower level opponent and at the same time be the biggest most motivated cc we’ve ever seen. i feel bad for his next opponent

I don’t think CroCop is going to fight a lower level opponent. I think a good fight for him is Brandon Vera. Both are smaller HW’s and strikers. Vera is about due to announce his next fight and so is CroCop.

Besides the fact that Couture out ways Cro Crop by about 15 pounds…Cro Crop is strictly a striker while Couture is unbeliavbly well rounded…Randy would close the distance and dirty box Mirko for the entire fight, and no one in MMA is better at dirty boxing than my man Randy

i think randy would beat crocop for sure but crocop has been bulking up they would be about the same size

Withdrawl from steroids is a bitch he ’s trying to get used to fighting with out them. Cro-Cop you signed a deal with the devil (Dana) finish your contract and run, run, and run to an organization who gives a F_ _k!!!!!!!!
