CBS EliteXC “Unfinished Business” Results Live

By CagE | July 26, 2008

EliteXC “Unfinished Business” is set to take place Saturday July 25 from the Stockton Arena in Stockton, CA. The will be EliteXC second show to broadcast live on CBS. With EliteXC’s mainstream fighters on the bench, this show will test weather EliteXC can draw viewers without a name like Kimbo or Gina on the card.

To the hardcore fan, this card is solid top to bottom. Lawler vs. Smith One proved to be a battle before the controversial stoppage at “EliteXC Primetime“. Jake Shields vs. “The Goat” Nick Thompson should be a great fight for the EliteXC welterweight belt.

Good or bad Nick Diaz always puts on a show. Shayna Baszler vs. Cristiane Cyborg might possibly be the most competitive female fight EliteXC has ever put on.

Be sure to check out CageToday.com around 7 pm EST, for the live results of both cards.

the funniest part of th night was when cyborgs dumb ass thought she won and was celebrating for like a minute before she realized she was still in a fight lol

Yeah and Bazler was probably ready to play dead at that point anyway but it was funny. The other funny part was watching Carano’s reaction after. She did the girl hate look until she realized she was on camera then tried to do the flirty look…priceless. The production was better I think CBS pitched in a little bit more on this one. It seems like Scott Smith is always breaking his rib in a fight.

it wasn’t bad. yeah the show looked a lot better than the first time. i was hoping smith and lawler would have more of a war.
