EliteXC has announced that it has negotiated contract extensions with key fighters Kimbo Slice, Robbie Lawler and Gina Carano. No further details were given regarding the terms of the contracts.
The franchise fighters will all appear on the CBS broadcast “Saturday Night Fights” on May 31.

Phil Baroni To Fight Ninja Rua On CBS

According to ProElite, Phil Baroni will return to action against former EliteXC welterweight champion Murilo “Ninja” Rua at the EliteXC debut show on CBS May 31.
ProElite.com confirmed with Baroni through text message that the match has been signed.

The website Nokaut is reporting that ProElite Inc. has offered Fedor Emelianenko a four fight deal that could have him fighting on two “Saturday Night Fights” events on CBS.
A reliable source has confirmed ProElite, Inc. has offered Russian heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko (27-1) a four-fight, 18-month contract.
