UFC 100 set for July 11th

UFC 97 “Redemption” set for April 18th, from the Bell Centre in Montreal Quebec, Canada. Headlining the card will be UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva talking on Thales Leites. In the co-main event, “The Iceman” Chuck Liddell will finally get his chance at former PRIDE veteran Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

The World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) has officially announced its WEC 40 fight card, set for April 5, from the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL.

A mixed boxing and MMA event promoted by Square Ring Promotions, Inc, is set to announce their “March Badness” fightcard featuring Roy Jones Jr. and Omar Sheika in the main event, on March 21st from the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, FL.

The PPV event will feature three MMA bouts. Featured fighters, WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley, Kimbo slayer Seth Petruzelli, former WEC light heavyweight champion Doug “Rhino” Marshall, former IFL heavyweight champion Roy Nelson and everyone favorite anarchist former UFC heavyweight Jeff Monson are expected to fill the MMA portion of the event.

An official press conference is expected Feb. 11th.
