Bob “MMA is GAY Skinheads” Arum, Manny Pacquiao’s promoter calls off the fight after the two could not come to a agreement over Olympic style drug testing. Arum said “Floyd never wanted to fight Manny”, and is now looking to match up Manny with Israeli boxer Yuri Foreman for the WBO Super welterweight belt.

Promoter and MMA hater Bob Arum broke the news that talks for the mega fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are over.

“It’s over, O-V-E-R … They’re viewed by the Pacquiao side as being partisan,” Arum said, referring to the USADA. “He doesn’t want to use them. I don’t want to use them. They’re so inflexible they can’t be used … As far as I’m concerned the fight is over … Can it be revisited in the autumn? We’ll see.” [FoxSports]

Lets hope that this is just a power play by Arum to get Mayweather to drop the issue of Olympic style drug testing. Both Pacquiao and Mayweather are reported to be making 30-40 Millions each for the fight.

It looks like the fear of needles is hampering the final contracts to be signed for Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather on March 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Mayweather wants Olympic style drug testing, Pacquiao’s camp calls it just a ploy to derail the fight.

Manny Pacquiao proved he is one of the greatest boxers ever to step in the ring, defeating Miguel Cotto by TKO in the 12th round. Pacquiao vs. Mayweather inevitable.

This weekend Filipino sensation Manny Pacquiao steps up in weight to take on Miguel Cotto in what might be the best boxing match up of the year. Due to tax reasons, Pacquiao was unable to hold camp at Freddie Roach’s wild card gym for this fight.

yeah, boxing is two grown men with over sized shiny shorts pulled up to their nipples, hugging each other 8 out of 12 rounds with giant cotton balls attached to their fists – that’s a mans sport.

That said, I would love to watch Hopkins vs Jones Jr. fight.

Longtime boxing Promoter Don Chargin announces his signing of Nick Diaz to a professional boxing contract.

Having been one of the few boxing promoters around today to have witnessed the great Sugar Ray Robinson fight live, it is no easy feat to impress Don “War-a-Week” Chargin. This hall-of-fame promoter has been touted by his peers as possibly being the best match-maker the boxing world has ever bore witness to. This is why it is with great intrigue that at the tail end of his long, illustrious career that Chargin would actively pursue what most would consider a long-shot proposal. Having promoted boxing matches from various era’s including the Dick Tiger-Gene Fullmer middleweight title bout at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park in 1962, the veteran promoter relishes the opportunity to promote one of both boxing and mixed martial arts most entertaining fighters. Nick Díaz is a fighter many have proclaimed as the “Arturo Gatti” of the MMA world. His bloodbath with Japan’s best 155-pounder, Takanori Gomi was a perfect example as to why many fight fans following both mixed martial arts as well as boxing have labeled him as such.

This six foot tall southpaw has waged war in virtually all of the major mixed martial arts promotional firms such as Strikeforce, UFC, Pride, WEC, IFL and the now defunct EliteXC. He’s also one of the few MMA guys that actually regularly puts in the gym work to improve his boxing IQ and I think it shows when he fights in the cage”.

Riding a 5-fight win streak as well as having compiled a record of 20-7 in the octagon, Nick Díaz is ready to take the boxing world by storm as he’s gunning for the top fighters in or around the super middleweight division.
