Talking about matching Lashley against Lesnar is jumping the gun a bit. I do think that somewhere down the line, if Lashley develops into a legitimate contender, that it would only make sense from a business standpoint for Dana White to make that fight. The fact that he’s hooked up with American Top Team would indicate that he’s well on his way. Clearly Lashley’s not taking the same approach as Lesnar with being thrown to the wolves. If he does well in his next fights and does sign with the UFC, I’d like to see him in there with a Cheick Kongo or Heath Herring type.

Also, iF Lashley can evolve into a skilled, MMA fighter, a potential match with former WWE alum Lesnar could be a promoter’s dream. There are lots of variables in this equation but “potentially” this match up could eventually look good from a marketer’s perspective. I realize that Brock is on a much higher level, as we speak, but if Lashley hooks up with the right people no one can deny how good Lashley can potentially become.

FYI…NO Camp just accepts anyone…they have to prove themselves. I like Lashley and Lesnar mainly because i am from a wrestling and military background just like them and support them fully and want to see both men succeed. Although i have to say at this given moment Lashley wouldnt really have much of a chance against Lesnar…you see Lesanr has already overcome the biggest challange of all…being comfortable in the ring in a main event status against to notch competition meaning top 10 HWHGT fighters in the world….were as Lashley faced a nobody who was also making his pro debut…i am not saying he isnt good i am just saying he is taking the slow route which could end up being his demise but could break him into MMA as well. Bottom line until i see Lashley face top competition like Lesnar and win i wont be giving him to much credit or hype. But in 2 years i could see these men fighting and i would love to see that.

I like Lashley more than Brock. Plus.. He’s on American Top Team. Many people agree that ATT is one of the best camps out there today. That camp just doesn’t accept anyone. That says something. Maybe they see something that we haven’t seen yet from Bobby.

I agree with Tim. I think MMa might be a little too new to Lesnar to start teaching. They do need a HW TUF.
