Affliction Loses Dallas Venue for its Debut Show on July 19
By CagE | May 5, 2008
According to Fiveouncesofpain, negotiations with Mark Cuban’s HDNet has apparently fell trough, as a result, the scheduled Affliction debut on July 19 will not take place at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
In a recent interview with Randy Couture on “Rear Naked Radio” 105.3 FM in Dallas, Randy Couture stated, the rumored new venue for the July 19 Affliction event is “The Pond” in Anaheim, California.
Results of the failed negotiations, HDNet will no longer broadcast the Affliction undercard. The original plan was that HDNet was to broadcast the Affliction undercards leading up to the PPV, as well as air the main card one week after the live event.
Headlining the first ever Affliction event on July 19 is Fedor Emelianenko and former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia.
