Santiago (21-7) had limited success in the UFC, going 1-2, his only win was over Justin Levens at UFN 5. Since then he has built up an impressive 9 fight winning streak with notable wins over Kazuo Misaki, Kazuhiro Nakamura, Trevor Prangley, Sean Salmon and Jeremy Horn.
