Out of the dog house, UFC lightweight Roger “El Matador” Huerta has signed a new five fight contract with the UFC, according to MMAWeekly.
Huerta caught some flack for speaking out about the UFC pay structure in an interview with Fight Magazine.
“All I was saying, is that as a business decision – and you can’t argue about this – it’s in all businesses…If another company offers you something better for you and your family, you would do that. It’s the logical thing to do, and that’s all I was saying.â€
Huerta is expected to return to the cage sometime in March.
