Today the UFC announced that the main event for UFC on FUEL 1 will be “The Dream” Diego Sanchez taking on rising star Jake Ellenberger. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15 and will be held in Omaha, Nebraska.
This is going to be an action packed fight with both fighters making their way to the top of the welterweight division. Ellenberger (26-5) is coming off of a five fight win streak which includes first round knockouts of Jake Shields and Sean Pierson. Sanchez (23-4) has won two back to back “Fight of the Night” bonuses for wins over Martin Kampmann and Paulo Thiago.
Wow don't blink on this one. Both of those guys bring it every single time. That's why they earn so many bonuses.
You have to go with Ellenberger because his standup is way better than Sanchez.
We'll finally be able to see if Ellenberger can back up his mouth in this fight because Sanchez always brings it.
