Jose Aldo Forced Out Of The UFC 125 Co-Main Event Due To Injury

Jose Aldo will have to wait a little longer to make his UFC debut, Aldo’s trainer confirms to ESPN’s Josh Gross that the newly crowned UFC featherweight champion was forced to withdraw from his fight at UFC 125 with a neck injury.

Returned home to an e-mail from Jose Aldo’s trainer Andre Pederneiras, who says “Junior” is officially out of UFC 125 w/ “neck disk” injury. [Josh Gross]

Jose Aldo was scheduled to face Josh Grispi in the co-main event at UFC 125 on Jan. 1st in Las Vegas.
