I think Rashad will be a little too fast for Silva. I think I see him doing to Silva what he did to Liddell. I don't know about Nog and Cain. I think Cain would win in the standup, but we all know Nog LOVES getting punched in the face. It doesn't seem to bother him, like he uses it to set up going to the ground.
im hoping big Nogs wins and i like silva more but i think rashad is more talented.

all sick fights! i love this card to be honest maybe its just me but all those fights seem interesting in a lot of ways.
dane i agree with you they look like really interesting fights. ryan s., you must have watched nog even before his ufc days. it's funny, he always takes an ass whooping and then wins. that guy has a crazy chin.
Has cain ever fought someone with actual jits skill? Not yet. This will be a great test for him, because he prides himself on taking people down and keepin 'em on the canvas. What happens when that's exactly what your opponent wants?
i think if the healthy Nog that showed up ti fight randy shows up he can give cain a lot of problems. I think it will be very interesting on the feet and he should be able to sweep cain a few times like he did randy.

I have not heard of any other fights being official for this card but it is looking good for the main and co-main. I think Nog gets the sub win and im gonna go out on a limb and say Thiago upsets Rashad by tko. I think he will catch him and with how powerful his strikes on the ground and the fact that Rashad hasnt fought since being KO'd. This is a huge fight for title contention. The winner is probally just 1 more win a way from getting a shot at who will be and should be the champ Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.

and i cant even remember sombody trying a submission on cain in his fights, we'r see his submission defence tested
rory i dont believe cain velasquez will be submitted. I see cain's submission defense as good as jon fitch. Well they both train with the same bjj instructor david camarillo, but u never know. I see this fight as cain taking it 2 the ground every round and squeezing out a decision. Silva and Evans is gonna be more exciting I see it going like the jardine/silva fight and see someone getting knocked out.
GG by your logic someone that trains with Fedors trainer and staff is just as good at him at armbars then. Everyone is different and if you think Cain can roll with Nog and come out a winner I think you are sadly mistaken. Kimura or armbar. Either one can happen easily. I think Cain has a better chnace keeping it on the feet. Big Nog doesnt have real KO power and so if Cain can manage a couple of slams and some average stand up he could pull the upset. This is for sure the biggest test for Cain and if he looks good here I would feel okay about seeing him fight for the title. Even though we all know he is too weak to beat Lesnar or Carwin. Maybe Cain should have taken steroids as well
