Brandon “The Truth” Vera has some words to say on his upcoming fight with Tim “The Maine-iac” Sylvia at UFC 77 on October 20. Brandon is returning to the cage after not fighting in almost a year, due to issues with his management. Vera will have a challenge talking on the 6’8″ UFC Giant, Tim Sylvia.

Personally, I think Silvia will win. Now that he doesn't have the belt anymore, he won't be fighting not to lose, he will be fighting to win.
Yeah, that's a good point. He was definitely satisfied with a decision win in his last few fights.
I'm rooting for Vera, I never liked watching Silvia and he was a boring Heavyweight Champ.
I would give it to vera but if sylvia comes out and fights like he did when he was beating ricco rodriguez, tra telligman and andre arlovski then it will be alot closer. I think without the pressure of defending his belt he could let loose more and we could see the old tim sylvia
